BRIGHT LIKE NEON to be released by Topside Signature in 2013
October 8 (New York, NY) – Topside Signature has today announced that the small press has acquired the publication rights for Bright Like Neon, and will publish the first novel by Angelina Anderson in Summer 2013.
Bright Like Neon follows the story of Jody Louden, the 17-year-old aspiring roller derby star and her first crush on a girl–the DJ at the roller rink, of course. When one of the white girls at her private school goes missing, Jody and her friends are forced to reckon with adulthood sooner than any of them had planned.
Angelina Anderson is a blogger and pop culture critic whose work has been featured on IFryMineInButter.com and the insanely popular office supply blog DoesThisPenWrite.com. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Goddard College. Bright Like Neon is her first novel.
